Affiliated Computer Services, A Xerox Company
Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), a Xerox Company, is a large Texas-based outsourcing company.
On February 8, 2010 Xerox officially acquired Affiliated Computer Services. According to the Xerox website Ursula Burns, Xerox CEO will now have the ultimate decision making power:
"ACS will initially be branded ACS, A Xerox Company. It will continue to be led by Lynn Blodgett, who has been elected by the Xerox Board of Directors as an executive vice president of the corporation. Blodgett will report to Burns."
CWA welcomes the change in leadership and will work with Xerox to end the labor dispute with ACS, A Xerox Company swiftly and shortly.
In 2008, ACS made $329 million in profits on $6 billion in revenues, and employs over 65,000 people worldwide. ACS is an outsourcing contractor for business services including: call centers, data processing, billing services, databases, and other information services.

ACS operates a call center in Staten Island where 300 employees work to administer the E-ZPass customer support service. They take calls and process E-ZPass billing for New York State.
